The battle of Toners (Dior, Lancome, Benefit)

Toners, toners, toners....do they actually make a difference to our skin?...There are so many kinds of toners out in the market, for most people, it's hard to find their holy grail toner that actually work.

Dior Lotion Purifying Tonic - Sephora/The Bay

This is such an IMPULSE buy, but i'm so glad that I tried it out.
The texture of the toner is very liquidity/watery. The smell is clean, but you can definitely smell the alcohol in it.

It mattifies the skin and does a fantastic job at cleaning up any left over makeup that I might have missed after washing the face.

This is a nice product for those with combination to oily skin. It still keeps the skin some what moisturized, without giving a squeaky clean feeling.

I wouldn't say this toner is a must have, or you'll need to go out and buy it right way. I probably won't repurchase it any time soon due to the steep price point. But overall, this is a really nice toner. Better than Laneige's toner for pore, or the toners that I'll be reviewing next.

Benefit's Moisture Prep Base Hydratante Toner & Lancome Tonique Comfort - Available at Sephora/Shoppers Drug Mart
These two toners share many similarities in terms of texture, function and consistencies.

Both toners offer rich moisturization to the skin, without making it feel oily. The texture is very thick, comes out like a liquidity lotion. I personally am not a fan of these 2 toners because I don't feel like it's offering anything outstanding to the face. It doesn't clean up the face well like the Dior, and I feel like it doesn't do anything to improve the texture of my skin.

The scents on these toners are nice, but I don't think this only factor will make me want to repurchase it again.

Pandora Haul!!!

If you haven't heard of the Pandora 2013 March promotion, then start researching on it! The promotion for this Spring season is to spend over $150CAD and receive a free silver bracelet (value $75). To be completely honest, I was never really a fan of Pandora bracelets. I have always thought their design are dupe-able, same silver quality as any that you can find at a typical jewellery boutique.  But sometimes, peer pressure get to you...(this sounds like an excuse LOL). And the only reason why I caved in to the bandwagon is that I want to own a bracelet, that I can collect special charms that can reflect some memorable time in my life.  Or something that I can find special/relevant to me. One thing people need to keep in mind is that, the pictures in the Pandora website is a bit misleading. The photos of each charms look much bigger and shinier, but in real life, they are much smaller. Another thing to remember is that, the silver do oxidize after y...

Kiehls - Midnight Recovery Concentrate

This product had so much hype when it was first released, and many people seem to enjoy it tremendously.  I have used up 2 bottles of this concentrate, so I wanted to record down my thoughts on it. Maybe it'll help me to refresh my memories later down the road.   Kiehls claims that this product is able to "   restores skin’s healthy appearance overnight, resulting in smoother, more radiant complexion by morning ".
