Toners, toners, toners....do they actually make a difference to our skin?...There are so many kinds of toners out in the market, for most people, it's hard to find their holy grail toner that actually work.
Dior Lotion Purifying Tonic - Sephora/The Bay
This is such an IMPULSE buy, but i'm so glad that I tried it out.
The texture of the toner is very liquidity/watery. The smell is clean, but you can definitely smell the alcohol in it.
It mattifies the skin and does a fantastic job at cleaning up any left over makeup that I might have missed after washing the face.
This is a nice product for those with combination to oily skin. It still keeps the skin some what moisturized, without giving a squeaky clean feeling.
I wouldn't say this toner is a must have, or you'll need to go out and buy it right way. I probably won't repurchase it any time soon due to the steep price point. But overall, this is a really nice toner. Better than Laneige's toner for pore, or the toners that I'll be reviewing next.
Benefit's Moisture Prep Base Hydratante Toner & Lancome Tonique Comfort - Available at Sephora/Shoppers Drug Mart
Both toners offer rich moisturization to the skin, without making it feel oily. The texture is very thick, comes out like a liquidity lotion. I personally am not a fan of these 2 toners because I don't feel like it's offering anything outstanding to the face. It doesn't clean up the face well like the Dior, and I feel like it doesn't do anything to improve the texture of my skin.
The scents on these toners are nice, but I don't think this only factor will make me want to repurchase it again.
