Mascara Empties (high ends + drug stores)

I went through my makeup stash and cleaned up a lot of old/used up mascaras...Alot of them is not worth mentioning as I do not recommend them at all.

But I will highlight a few that I think it's worth mentioning.

1. Benefit - They're Real : This mascara has so much hype over the internet for a couple of years. I think this is a decent mascara as it gives good length and somewhat good volume. I would say it does a better job at lengthening than volumizing.  It holds curls well and it does not smudge. The best feature of this mascara is that it separates the lashes quite well and does not give a spidery finish to the lashes.

2. Lancome Hypnose Drama: Personally, this is not one of my favorite. One being very pricey, second being nothing special about the finish it offers. A pro of this mascara is that it gives good length, however, if you apply more than 2 coats, it'll make the lashes very spidery and clumpy.

3. Maybelline the Falsies Volume Express: Do not recommend this as it does nothing to my lashes...It has small fibres in the wand, but it doesn't do much in adding up volume or length.

ANASTASIA - Lavish Eye Shadow Palette (swatches)

This eye-shadow palette is awesome! It comes with 10 different shades that are mostly warm toned.   I love the staying power of these eye shadows (especially the darker ones).     The palette also comes with  - Dual ended eye shadow brush    (meh) - Twist-up Waterproof eye liner (I love this eyeliner! It's pigmented and last all day. The only problem I have with this is that I see tiny smudges around the lower lash line after a day of wear) - Brow pencil  (hint of brown, but color does not last all day) - Brow tweezers The lighter ones (cream/ballet/orange soda) are very sheer, but the darker colors are very pigmented. Review: Lancome Dual Finish Versatile Powder Foundation Makeup

I have always been trying out new foundation powders over the years...And I gotta say, this is one of my favorite foundation powder. The shade I have is  Matte Neutrale II (W).. The texture of this powder foundation is really finely milled. I would say the coverage of this foundation is medium to build-able.  I wouldn't say this is a heavy duty full coverage powder, as it doesn't cover acne or marks. One of the reasons why I love this foundation a lot is the longevity that it gives. I usually apply my  makeup around 7:30am in the morning...and I have a typical OL work schedule. So by the end of the day (I would say at least 8 hrs later), I can still see the foundation set really nicely on my skin. For alot of other foundation powders that I have try (ex. chanel)..this Lancome powder does not oxide as much on me. The color stay pretty much the same as I applied. But of course, it does wear off a bit at the end of the day. But I really love how long it stays o...

Hot Pink Rose Vibrant Overall, I think the color payoff for these lipsticks + lip glosses are very pigmented. But I find that the lip butters are quite drying after 30min or so. I can see my lips start to dry up alot more if I wear these lip butters on a daily basis.  The lip glosses are very opaque and the colors are really pretty, however, it doesn't last long...
